IT Application Specialist

Play a critical role delivering solutions in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment!

We are seeking a motivated, organized individual who works effectively as part of a small team with minimal supervision. This permanent, full time position requires experience along with the drive to continuously learn and keep up to date on technology and emerging trends. Successful candidates must have the ability to manage complex systems and applications in a busy, open environment, while also providing friendly support to end-users as required.

The Application Specialist will maintain, support, and build on the District’s growing array of business applications. The organization is making a significant investment by implementing modern, connected, enterprise-wide systems as part of a multi-year Technology Transformation program. This new position will be part of a growing IT team that will ensure users are supported, have a positive experience, and get maximum value from these new systems and applications.

Candidates who have certifications and/or experience administering core business systems currently in use at the District will be preferred. This includes MS SharePoint, Unit4 Business World, Tempest, and SQL databases.
