Human Resources / Occupational Safety Manager
Located in the upper eastern Fraser Valley, the District of Kent offers a rural lifestyle with affordable housing options and easy access to outdoor pursuits. The community is conveniently situated 127 km northeast of Vancouver and 8 km from the resort community of Harrison Hot Springs. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position provides technical support and advice for all human resources functions including recruitment, job evaluation / classification, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with corporate health and safety program. We are seeking a dynamic individual who has a minimum of five years senior human resources experience within the public sector or local government environment. Your post-secondary training includes a degree in human resources supplemented by courses in occupational health and safety.
