This Program was launched in January 2012 to recognize and celebrate CAMA members’ dedication to public service and municipal management.  These awards are based on the number of years of full-time, paid employment in municipal government in a management capacity (a Chief Administrative Officer or reporting directly to a Chief Administrative Officer).  They are granted at ten years and given in five year increments and presented each Spring (commencing in 2012).

Recipients who have completed twenty years of service or more will be recognized at an Awards Luncheon taking place on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 in Saskatoon as part of the Annual CAMA Conference.  Also, sixteen members will be honoured with the Distinguished Service Award for having been in the position of Chief Administrative Officer or City Manager for twenty-five years or more and been a member of CAMA for at least ten years.
