The District of Summerland is seeking proposals from professional, qualified and experienced individuals or firms for the provision of Annual Ground and Surface Water Monitoring Reporting for the Summerland Sanitary Landfill, as prescribed by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, the applicable BC Water Quality guidelines, and the Summerland Sanitary Landfill Operations Certificate and Permits that are issued under the Environmental Management Act.
Commencing with the 2019 Annual Ground and Surface Water Monitoring Report, the successful Proponent will provide the services required to prepare and submit the Annual Ground and Surface Water Monitoring Report for the Landfill. Ground and Surface Water Monitoring reporting is a requirement of Summerland Sanitary Landfill Operating Certificate. The 2019 Annual Ground and Surface Water Monitoring Report is due February 19, 2020 to the District and due February 28, 2020 to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
RFP documents are available for no charge via the District of Summerland website at summerland.ca/bids. The District’s website is the only authorized website to obtain competitive bid documents for the District of Summerland’s opportunities. The District of Summerland shall not be held responsible for our competitive bid documents that are located on any other website.
Term of Engagement:
The contract shall be valid for a period of three (3) years with the opportunity to renew for two (2) additional years, upon the mutual agreement of both parties.
