Having problems opening a document?

CivicInfo BC’s document search tool searches files in a variety of formats. These include, but may not be limited to, Microsoft Office word processing files (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), and presentation (PowerPoint) files, and documents in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

If you are having problems with a document it may be that your computer does not have the software installed to enable you to open and/or view it. You can download viewers and converters for all the above file types, at no cost. Just select one of the following links, download the software you need, and install in on your computer. You should then be able to access the file you need.
