Recently Daniel Goleman, the author of several books on Emotional Intelligence and leadership, gathered together a group of physicists, Buddhists, psychiatrists and neuroscientists so that they could learn from each other about how the mind works. This evening discussion will carry forward that discussion by further exploring the relationship between the brain, psychology, and leadership. Incorporating recent scientific findings, the brain will be examined, both as a metaphor for leadership and as a driver of leadership actions, in order to gain greater insights into organizational and human behaviour.
